Firefighter FITNESS: Fit to Serve, Fit for Life

Safety Stand Down 2026 – Resources

Safety Stand Down 2026 focuses on responder fitness. The campaign encourages all responders to take a proactive approach to their fitness so they are ready to serve their department and community now and in the future. The daily focus topics help responders go from the foundations of functional fitness to sustainable ongoing success.

This page provides existing resources available to help you and your department focus on fitness. Resources will continue to be added leading up to Safety Stand Down in June. Tools and planning resources developed specifically for this year’s Safety Stand Down will be available in the coming months on the Planning page.

If your department has a helpful resources or success story to share, submit it via this form.
